F-82R Now Sailing In Toronto, Canada
Larry Woods has now launched his F-82R in Toronto, and has already had some good sailing, being one of the fastest competitors at the recent Bay City Multihull Championships in Michigan, having some close duels with the winning F-25C of Matt Scharl.
This is an all carbon fiber boat, and as such is very light, the actual measured weight being 1780 lbs. This includes outboard, sails, nets, electronics, battery, plus all rigging and on board equipment. The battery weighed 59 lbs alone. A little more tuning and Larry is going to be very hard to beat.
Some earlier construction photos:

Larry has used a Zolatone paint for the interior, for a speckled finish
that is very effective.
The new style daggerboard rudder - very light and simple. Larry's boat also
has the new aft cabin option, which is very roomy. The F-33 style carbon
traveler for the boomless mainsail can also be seen
