F-9AX In South Africa
Frans Loots is now in the final stages of completing his F-9AX in what looks like a very interesting location. Frans writes:My F-9AX finally left the garage this weekend. Had to jack it up to slip the cradle underneath it and my son Jamie then called the shots to ensure we cleared the garage door. The haliard winch made it by 10mm!
We now have to paint the front 1.5 meters of the 9.5 meter boat which we were fitting out inside an 8 meter garage. So, we are now ready to line up the beams and bond the floats and build the foils and wire the electronics.
