F-82 Launched in Georgia

Dr. Philip Holmes has now launched his F-82 in Georgia (Athens) and writes:Hi Ian,
Our family successfully launched Kestrel, F-82 #138, on Friday. We didn't have a chance to sail, as there was no wind, but that was probably for the best since I was preoccupied with checking all the systems. We motored for a couple hours (5 mph with 6hp at half throttle), raised the main and jib to check halyards, and spent a very comfortable night on board.The mast is rotating (36' Charleston Spar F175c alum. section), shrouds are Precourt synthetic, and forestay is wire.
Thanks for designing such a great boat and creating excellent plans. If I can build it, anyone can. Thanks also for all your support along the way. I'll send more pics along soon (hopefully sailing shots).
