F-32SR Flying Center Hull
Jerry Fiat's F-32SR flying the center hull in a recent Cortez Race in San Diego. Jerry writes:
We did the Cortez Around the Coranado race this weekend. Our time for the race 2:15 min, next best time (Gunboat 66) 3:30 min. Best mono 3:45 min Reichel Pugh 50. It was 8 to 12 knots of wind, 32 miles. We caught the first fleet (started 1 hour before) in 45 min. Past all the boats. Basically double handed (Amos and Lynisa just sat on the rail). Leeward lifting foil fully down.
JerryDesigner Note: the above photo is of a powerful racing design, with float rudders, and normal F-boats cannot and should not be sailed like this unless there is a very experienced crew on board.
