F-82 Building in Australia

Andrew Downing has been building an F-82 in Australia and writes:

Ian

I am still plugging away slowly but intend to have it all finished later this year as I have a couple of marathon races and holidays planned.

I have pretty much finished all the glassing bar a few little jobs such as locker lid flanges. The deck gear plan is finished which I will confirm in a couple of weeks when I get back from the Bay to Bay race where I am hoping to check out some F-82's and maybe the new F-22.

Regards
Andrew

First hull half ready for joining

Hulls being joined

The view inside - the good thing about joining this way is that deck seam is easy to tape - NO
awkward upside down taping required!

Joined, upright, and dreaming of things to come!

One finger folding? Well it takes a little more effort, but not much more!
