F-22 Near Launching in Australia
Ross Babbage has now taken delivery of his F-22 (built in the Philippines) and is having it assembled and fitted out in Sydney.
Just after arrival and having been removed from the shipping container.
Another great paint job!
You may be interested in the first photos of my F-22 in fully assembled form. Some visiting engineers have been very impressed indeed. One said that he thought that the metal components looked aviation standard!
The spars were scheduled to be delivered on Monday and then the rig will be built. The marine electrician is advanced in specifying the fit-out requirements in that area and the design of the cockpit bimmi and dodger and full covering extensions is apparently close to being finalized but I have yet to see them.
We’re getting there but I doubt that we will be sailing until mid-December. It may end up being a rather nice Christmas present!
